In order to configure private name servers for vps you need to make the following steps :
- Setup two or more hostnames for your domain at your domain registrar e.g. (ns1.yourdomain.com, ns2.yourdomain.com).
- In whm go to Basic WebHost Manager® Setup and insert your name servers like screenshot below.

Go to DNS Zone Manager – under your domain add to NS records e.g.
(yourdomain.com NS ns1. yourdomain.com,
yourdomain.com NS ns2. yourdomain.com).
and A records e.g.
(ns1. yourdomain.com A ipv4,
ns2. yourdomain.com A ipv4).
